Rasoi Notepad is a small, independently made recipe app. If something's confusing or broken, this page should help. If it doesn't, just write in.
From the Library screen, tap Paste a URL Link to import from a recipe blog or a YouTube video, or Take a Photo to build a recipe from a photographed cookbook page, recipe card, or a photo of a finished dish. Review the result before saving. You can fix anything the import got wrong.
Recipe blogs and most cooking websites work well. YouTube works when the creator wrote ingredients and steps into the video description, or linked out to their blog from there. Sites that hide recipes behind logins, and platforms like Instagram and TikTok that don't expose enough text to read, aren't supported yet.
No. Saving, editing, and cooking from recipes all work without an account.
Not yet. Recipes, meal plans, and grocery lists are stored only on the device you're using. Reinstalling the app or switching phones won't bring them with you.
Go to Profile → Reset app data. This removes everything you've added and restores the recipes the app ships with. It can't be undone, so use it deliberately.
See the account deletion instructions, or just email us and we'll take care of it.
This app is actively improved based on feedback like this. Screenshots of what went wrong are especially helpful.
